In the first quarter of 2022, the top 5 cryptocurrency apps in Oman—Rain: Buy & Sell Bitcoin, Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto, CoinMENA: Buy Bitcoin Now, MetaMask - Blockchain Wallet, and KuCoin- Buy Bitcoin & Crypto—showed diverse trends in downloads and active users, based on Sensor Tower data.

Rain: Buy & Sell Bitcoin saw a notable decline in weekly downloads, starting from around 1.9K at the beginning of January and dropping to 810 by the end of March. Weekly active users also experienced a slight dip, beginning at 3.1K and ending the quarter at approximately 2.8K.

Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto experienced a gradual decrease in weekly downloads, from 1.3K in late December to 716 by the final week of March. On the other hand, weekly active users showed a consistent upward trend, starting at 18.3K and peaking at 20.8K by the end of Q1.

CoinMENA: Buy Bitcoin Now had a significant drop in weekly downloads, decreasing from 1.1K at the end of December to just 230 in the last week of March. The app's weekly active users also saw a decline, starting at 872 and ending the quarter at 470.

KuCoin- Buy Bitcoin & Crypto demonstrated a varied trend in weekly downloads, starting at 221 in late December, peaking at 384 in mid-January, and ending the quarter at 250. The app's weekly active users consistently increased, beginning at 1.6K and reaching 2.4K by the end of March.
